Our advice is to stay somewhere beautiful so you can rest your tired bones in a special place, but as we've already established, it's important that you have a good meal. That's why we did some research and discovered the best places to eat in Switzerland. Now let's take a look at these establishments:

Pro tip: To visit these restaurants, you can book a car service online at Traserbas.

Haus Zum Rueden

Located at Limmatquai 42, 8001, Zurich, Haus Zum Rueden, serves Mediterranean, European and Swiss dishes. The food in this restaurant is simply delicious and always beautifully presented. The restaurant itself has a nicely curved wooden ceiling, complemented by wooden walls and lights that elegantly illuminate the dining room. If you want to enjoy a fine meal, Haus Zum Rueden is worth a visit, as it is a very special establishment.

Orchids in woven baskets decorate some of the tables and the wait staff is happy to make your meal special. Located in a traditional style building, the restaurant may not be immediately obvious to visitors, so you can look for a red and white plaque on the side of the restaurant and arches that signal its entrance.

If you're looking for a recommendation for your meal, you can try the Irish beef tenderloin with pepper sauce, it's simply divine and worth a try. You will be happy to know that the menu is written in German and English, which makes it easy to read. Haus Zum Rueden offers a wonderful dining experience and is worth a visit.

Pinte Besson

Located at Rue de l'Ale 4, Lausanne 1003, Pinte Besson serves Swiss, European and French cuisine. Decorated from top to bottom in dark oak and with a curved ceiling, Pinte Besson might be one of the most beautiful places to dine. With a yellow exterior filled with shuttered windows, the restaurant may not be what you expect, as its exterior doesn't exude style, but it's certainly worth a visit.
With occasional light hanging from the ceiling and very comfortable chairs, this restaurant is a little different. The tables look like picnic tables, and even if you don't expect to find them in a restaurant, it makes your visit even more interesting. The food here is sumptuous, it's beautifully presented and it's clear that each meal is cooked to perfection. We recommend the Entrecote Parisienne with green peppers and the homemade tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream. Wonderful! Opened in 1780, La Pinte Besson was originally a wine store, but in 2000 it became a restaurant and the owners were asked to keep its historic decor, and it's wonderful that they did. With very tasty dishes on the menu and a delightful atmosphere, Pinte Besson is definitely worth a visit.

Arcobaleno

Located at Hauptstrasse 18, Unterseen, Interlaken 3800, Arcobaleno offers Mediterranean and Italian dishes. Pizza lovers should visit this restaurant at least once during their stay in Interlaken, as they are sure to love the home-made pizzas that have been expertly cooked. While the restaurant prides itself on serving very tasty pizzas, it also offers many other delicious dishes on its menu, such as tomato, cheese, basil and arugula pasta. Guests can sit in the restaurant, which has been elegantly decorated, and while the dining room isn't the largest you'll encounter, it's quite intimate and offers a more relaxed experience than you might find in a fine dining establishment.

With an outdoor seating area offered for those who want to take advantage of the nice weather, Arcobaleno has something for everyone. Whether you want to enjoy a pasta dish, pizza or steak and rice, you won't be disappointed. Offering a three-course lunch or a tasty dinner, the restaurant is located on the first floor of the Post Hotel and is open to all. With a capacity of 110 people and an excellent reputation for quality food, Arcobaleno is ideal if you want to sit back, relax and enjoy good food.
While there are some great places to eat in Switzerland, we recommend visiting Haus Zum Rueden, Pinte Besson and Arcobaleno. Each of these restaurants offers something different, but they are all wonderful places to dine. If you want to enjoy a dining experience before heading to the mountains, you can book a table at Haus Zum Rueden. If you want to have a meal in a beautiful and historic place, the Pinte Besson is the place to be. Finally, if you want to dine in a restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and fine cuisine, you can book a table at Arcobaleno. Wherever you decide to dine, you'll be greeted by impressive menus, tasty dishes and a memorable time.
