1- Medina of Fez:


The ancient medina of Fez is a magnificent work of art. It is also a wonderful and amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site. The intricate layout of the medina's streets, difficult to navigate, madrasas, palaces, mosques and old fountains from the 13th century, when Fez was the capital of Morocco, all illustrate the beauty and skill of the architects. The heart of the medina is full of an attractive barber shop and Arab house designs that display mosaic zellij displays.

2- Armed village, near Imlil, in the High Atlas Mountains:


Amidst the High Atlas Mountains, the barber villages present stunning landscapes and examples of exceptional house designs. It is located near Mount Toubkal, which enriches its value for hikers who want to climb to the top of the North African mountains.

3- Bahia Palace, Mellah, Marrakech:

In the beautiful city of Marrakech, the Bahia Palace was built with the intention of the great and amazing palace of its time with beautiful architecture and colors. In the red city of Morocco, it was created by Si Moussa and his son in two different generations while it also received a range of architectural influences and an irregular structure in two different times.

4- Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca:

The 13th largest mosque in the world and the 1st largest mosque in Morocco, the Hassan II Mosque with the highest minaret in the entire world was completed in 1993. It is located on the North Atlantic coast of the ocean in the beautiful city of Casablanca. This mosque was designed by Michel Pinseau and built by the Bourgues. With a height of 210 meters, the minaret has a laser on its top which is directed towards Mecca.

5- Round minaret, Moulay Idriss :

Burial place of Moulay Idriss I, the round minaret was built with a unique design in the whole Islamic world. Its tiles were glued with the suras of the Koran written on them and are connected to the Medersa Idriss inside the Medina which is the oldest school of Koranic teaching.

6- Ceiling of the Kasbah of Telouet, Atlas Mountains:


Located at the end of the Ounila valley in Ait ben Haddou, Telouet is located along the trade route between Marrakech and the Sahara. Unfortunately, the building is now in ruins and the authorities are hardly able to restore it. Some parts of this building are in good condition and represent the best Islamic designs of an Islamic state and art. Cedar is used to make the glass ceiling and the wooden doors and windows. In the past, the building was the house of Thami El Glaoui who was the pasha of Marrakech.

7- Cape Spartel Lighthouse, Tangier:


Located on the most northwestern point of continental Africa, Cape Spartel is really a wonderful place and you can see Spain and Gibraltar from this place on a clear day. It is not possible to get inside the tower, as it is a lighthouse, but you can still enjoy the beauty of its angles. However, it is still considered one of the best places in Tangier.

8- Volubilis, Walili, Moulay Idriss:

The strange ancient settlement by the Romans and their ancestors, Volubilis are the UNESCO heritage site and under preservation. The sacred medina of Morocco is only 3 km from these ruins and exceptionally visited by many Moroccan travelers. Spending a night in Moulay Idriss will allow you to further explore the Roman settlements.

9- Moroccan Mediterranean Architecture, Sidi Ifni:

In southern Morocco, Sidi Ifni is a fishing village with a history of Spanish occupation and played an important role in securing the catch in the Sahara Desert. The amazing large arches with a beautiful design can be seen in many buildings throughout the village. Mediterranean and Spanish influences are visible in the design of the buildings and houses of the village.
